Story Magazine is calling for submissions of stories, comics, essays, poems and interviews on the topic of climate change. They’re interested in “narrative of any shape and kind we can get onto the printed page. ”
They’re published by the York College of Pennsylvania, and supported largely by a grant.
The deadline to submit is July 15, 2015.
According to their website:
“Story, will pay author(s) a minimum of $30 per poem, $20 per page of prose (up to $200), and $100 per interview upon publication of the work(s) in print editions of Story. “
They want to be surprised with the perspective you send them. They do not interpret their theme strictly.
They accept simultaneous submissions, but only allow one submission at a time.
To learn more, or to submit, be sure to read their full submission guidelines.
