Story Houston is a literary journal “founded to encourage and support developing writers in the Houston area and beyond.” They seek to publish writing that appeals to a broad audience. They publish short stories between 1,000 and 6,000 words.

They want original, unpublished fiction.

They pay $200 per published story.
