Chicken Soup for the Soul is calling for submissions on the topic of “Random Acts of Kindness.” As with all of their stories, they want real life, inspiration stories.
Their next deadline for submission is July 31st, 2015.
They pay $200 per story or poem, and also give their writers 10 contributor copies.
According to their website:
“Have you ever put a quarter in the parking meter for a stranger? Has someone performed a random act of kindness for you? We love hearing about random acts of kindness and we want to read your best stories about ones that have occurred to you or to someone close to you. We’d also love to read about acts of kindness that you have performed or that people close to you have performed.“
To learn more, and to submit your writing, be sure to read the full submission guidelines.
If you miss this current deadline, they have several more coming up this year on a variety of book topics, including “The Spirit of America,” “My Very Good, Very Bad Cat,” “Angeles and Miracles,” and “Military Families.”
