Glamour UK is an online magazine for women. They’re seeking pitches on loneliness/community. They’re open to first-person narratives, inspiring stories, listicles, and more. They are also interested in hearing from people who run clubs/communities/events for women. They haven’t mentioned the rates, but as per this post by their website director, they pay £200 for opinion pieces and £300 for more investigative pieces. DADDY is a Black-owned, Berlin-based magazine and consultancy dedicated to diversifying the media landscape. For their Power issue, they’re seeking “essays, stories, poems, photography, and art that explore the many faces of power—quiet or loud, personal or collective, visible or hidden.” They will pay contributors €100 upon publication (maximum 1,200 words). New Naratif is Seeking Pitches for Pride Month

New Naratif is “a movement to democratise democracy in Southeast Asia.” To celebrate Pride Month, they’re seeking features or explanatory articles (1,500 to 2,000 words) under the theme of “Queer Yearning: The Melancholy and Joy of Queer Experiences in Southeast Asia.” They will pay $150 to $200 per piece. The Roots of Progress Institute (RPI) is “a nonprofit dedicated to building a culture of progress for the 21st century.” They’re looking to commission stories for their new article series called “Intelligence Age,” which will explore future applications of AI. The Flytrap's Pitching Window is Opening Soon

The Flytrap is “a media collective focused on feminist cultural criticism that responds to and engages with cultural phenomena, rejecting algorithmic editorial strategies.” Their pitching window for stories is opening soon. TalkDeath is “the hub for death-conscious conversation.” They’re always open to pitches from guest writers. The Atavist Magazine is a digital-only publication that releases one blockbuster nonfiction story every month. Their editor-in-chief is accepting pitches. Their stories are 8,000 to 30,000 words long and their baseline story rate is $6,000. They also pay quarterly royalties to their authors. Briarpatch is Accepting Pitches for the Labour Issue

Briarpatch is a Canadian magazine of politics and culture. They’re accepting pitches for their annual Labour Issue. They’re seeking “articles, investigative reporting, historical analysis, photo essays, timelines, personal essays, reviews, profiles, recommendations, lists, humour, comics, and art for the issue.” Their rates are $150 for profiles, short essays, reviews, and parting shots (typically 1,500 words or less); $250 for feature stories (usually 1,500 to 2,000 words) and photo essays; and $350 for research-based articles and investigative reporting (usually 2,000 to 2,500 words).
