We are currently calling for submissions from freelance writers on the topic “How I Found a Client that Paid Me $X for My Writing.”
The articles should serve as case studies that other writers can learn from. The case studies should include specific dollar amounts, as well as examples of communications with the client/editor/etc, such as your initial pitch.
The case study should:
- Include Specific Dollar Amounts Earned
- Include specific pitches, emails, conversations (as relevant)
- Start with a clear explanation of why the reader will benefit from the case study, what they will learn, and why it is a potentially exciting example.
- Assume the reader is smarter than you, but may have surprising gaps in their knowledge.
Examples of previous case studies we have published include:

- How I Earn $30,000 a Year as a Part-Time Freelance Writer
- How I Found $500 Writing Gigs on Craigslist
Payment starts at $50. Publication will also include a bio, with a link to your website, if desired.
