I am currently seeking pitches for “case study” articles about how writers landed freelance writing jobs.

I want pitches covering two general categories:

• How you got published in a magazine, blog, or website. Ideally, you’ll be able to include the original pitch sent, payment amounts, and a link to the published article.
• How you landed a recurring writing gig for a small business / private client. This could be a regular content-marketing gig, a regular blogging gig for a small business, copywriting work for a small business, or something similar. Discussion of your strategy, in terms of landing this gig, is critical to the article.

I am particularly seeking case studies from writers of diverse backgrounds, especially Black writers.

I’m not able to afford very much for payment; it generally starts at $50, but goes as high as $100.

These articles should be a combination of storytelling and teaching, so that people can learn by example.
