The deadline for the fresh.ink writing contest is just days away!

A brand new website, fresh.ink gives authors detailed analytics about how readers engage with their writing, including analytics on opens, dropoffs, ratings, etc.

These seem to be the types of analytics that platforms such as Youtube give to their video creators, but tailored to text, and with more emphasis on providing feedback to authors.

The contest itself offers $7,500 in prizes, including:

• Short-story — $1,000 Under 7,500 words
• Novelette — $1,500 From 7,500 to 17,499 words
• Novella — $2,000 From 17,500 to 39,999 words
• Novel — $3,000 40,000 words and over

The contest is open to all writers, 18 or older, and is paid in U.S. dollars.

There is no limit to the number of entries you can submit, though this seems to be in line with the goal of getting new content into their platform, which seems to be one of the big reasons they are holding this contest. That being said, if you’re looking for feedback on your writing, this seems like a good place to start.

The deadline had previously been December 21st, 2019, at midnight. However, they recently changed their deadline to December 1st, 2019.
