Cricket Magazine group is calling for submissions of stories about Knights & Castles for 2 of their publications. They publish magazines for children of a variety of ages. Spider is for children aged 6-9, and Cricket is for children aged 9-14.

Both magazines are currently accepting submissions on the theme Knights and Castles.

They pay up to $0.25 a word. Cricket accepts stories up to 6,000 words in length, though most stories around around 1,800 words — making the payment up to $450 for most stories, or $1,500 for longer stories.

Spider stories are under 1,000 words.

They are also calling for submissions of flash fiction, with a word limit of 750 words.

The deadline for both calls for submission is October 26th, 2015.
