The National Endowment for the Arts is a publicly funded program that supports artists in the United States. They offer $25,000 fellowships for writers of creative nonfiction, poetry, and fiction.

This year’s deadline for application is March 8th, 2017.
Applicants should have an established history of publication in literary journals, anthologies, or books.
