Booking.com (USA) is an online accommodation reservation service. They are hiring a full-time Content Writer to create high volumes of destination and travel-related content. The applicant should have at least 2 to 3 years of content writing, editing and proofreading experience, preferably in an e-commerce and B2C environment. Russell Investments is a global investment solutions partner. They are looking for an Investment Writer to “manage all aspects of the RFP (Request for Proposal) process from inception to delivery of final copy.” They want someone who has at least 2 years’ experience in proposal, technical, or business writing and at least 2 years’ experience in project management. CBS Interactive is an online content network. They are hiring for the position of PopCulture Staff Writer-Nights and Weekends. The writer “will be primarily responsible for writing daily news desk articles that include but are not limited to reality TV news, celebrities, and general trending news.” The writer should have 2+ years of professional experience. Chicago Reader is an alternative weekly newspaper in Chicago. They are seeking an Associate Editor. The selected applicant’s duties will include “editing, copy editing, and fact-checking, as well as general production support.” The ideal applicant should have experience in a professional newsroom. The Trace is a nonprofit newsroom that covers gun violence in the United States. They are looking for:

  • A Managing Editor who will work with their other editors and their newsroom operations coordinator to “ensure they have the support, tools, and troubleshooting help they need.” The managing editor will be responsible for supervising their engagement and community editors. Much of their staff is based in New York City, but this job can be based anywhere in the continental U.S.
  • A Story Editor who will be responsible for assigning and editing articles and projects. “This position will run a small team of reporters, so candidates should have a track record of managing and motivating colleagues or a strong desire to move from reporting to editing. Prior work editing or reporting stories on racial justice, or about communities most affected by gun violence, is a plus.” This job can be based anywhere in the continental U.S.

ProPublica is a non-profit newsroom that focuses on producing investigative journalism in the public interest. They are seeking a full-time Copy Editor to maintain the high quality of stories, manage the flow of copy, and publish their work online. They want someone with at least 3 years of experience working as a copy editor at a news organization. They are based in New York City, but are open to remote applicants. Gizmodo is G/O Media’s tech and science site. They are hiring for the position of Staff Writer, Gizmodo (Science). The selected candidate will provide daily coverage of science news. Time is a global media brand. They are looking for an Editor, Health and Wellness (Freelance/Remote) who will assign and edit stories for their digital wellness magazines.   • An Executive Editor, Morning Brew Business to lead editorial operations for business-focused editorial products.
