Stylist Magazine is a weekly magazine and a website for smart, successful, and sophisticated women. Their fitness editor is seeking pitches from WOC. She is looking for fun first-person pieces, interviews, technical tips, and useful bits that will help other women get stronger. She is not looking for weight loss pitches. Rate is £150/piece. Stained Page News (SPN) is a cookbook newsletter. They are accepting pitches about cookbooks. They only commission pieces from US-based writers. They pay $200 to $300 per piece (ideally around 800 words). For more information, refer to their editor’s Twitter thread and their guidelines.

Guardian US is a website that covers American and international news. Their editor has tweeted, “I’m running a weekly series for the next few months on the post-vax return to society, over at The Guardian.” “I’m looking for narrative-driven, reported stories on work, relationships, lifestyle, interpersonal ethics.” They usually pay $0.50 per word. Upping the Anti is “a radical journal of theory and action.” They are accepting pitches for their Issue 23. They want submissions that engage with abolition and similar revolutionary frameworks in mind. They will pay a $100 honoraria to writers. They have extended their deadline to July 1. Good Beer Hunting produces “strategic beer brands, intellectually honest editorial, beverage industry analysis, and a deep-dive podcast.” They are always seeking great international stories from outside the US and Western Europe. They pay $700 for features, $325 for mini-features, up to $200 for Sightlines pieces, and $100 for blog posts. The Unwritten is an online magazine for disabled people by disabled people. They are seeking “a disabled person to write about #FreeBritney.” The writer must be disabled or have mental health condition(s). Personal experience is preferred but not essential. Rabble.ca is a Canadian progressive news website. Their editor is looking for pitches on #CancelCanadaDay. “Indigenous-authored prioritized, ally-authored welcome.” They will publish these pieces on July 1. Guardian US is a website that covers American and international news. Their editor is seeking pitches for a new series on climate and business. They pay about $0.50 per word. The i Paper is a British national newspaper. AskMen is a lifestyle website for men. They are seeking some July pitches for their sex/dating vertical. They will pay up to $250/article.
