This is Canada’s foremost cross-disability lifestyle magazine. Topics include travel, health, sport, recreation, careers, education, transportation, housing, social policy, relationships, technology, family life, movie/book reviews, personality profiles, events and conferences. The magazine has a conversational tone. They’re not looking for personal essays, but encourage writers to draw on their experiences to illustrate a broader topic. 5. Coral and Amazonas magazines

These magazines, run by Reef to Rainforest Media, are for underwater naturalists and aquarists. They also have a blog. The publications give hands-on advice on selecting and keeping aquarium fishes, invertebrates and plants; and publish reports on aquaculture, environmental issues and pioneering work in aquarium technology and marine science.

Coral is a bimonthly marine aquarium magazine read in more than 100 countries.
