WhatNerd is a website about nerd lifestyle and entertainment. They cover games, TV, movies, health, and more. They are looking for contributors who can write 1 to 8 articles per month. Shondaland is “the pioneering storytelling company founded by Shonda Rhimes.” Their culture editor is accepting pitches for the month of March. She wants well thought out ideas about:

Cross Country Skier Magazine is the journal of Nordic skiing. They publish 3 times a year. They want “researched, timely, original ideas with a strong Nordic skiing hook, from current events to prolific characters to unique destinations.” Their standard rate for manuscripts is $0.25 a word. Cornelia Magazine is “a visual arts review magazine for Western New York, USA and Southern Ontario, Canada.” They are seeking “submissions that cover Buffalo, Toronto, Rochester and everything in between.” They want piecemeals (300 words), exhibition reviews (600 to 800 words), and features (1,500 to 2,000 words). The deadline for submission of pitches is March 18, 2020. They pay $0.25 per word at the maximum word count per article (for example, for exhibition reviews, they pay $200). Soshace is “a recruitment platform that connects IT professionals and companies.” They are looking for articles (of at least 1,000 words) that are targeted towards developers, designers, data scientists, or software engineers.
