Real Simple is currently hosting their 10th annual essay contest. This year’s theme asks you to answer a simple question: “What was the happiest moment of your life?”

The winning essay will win a $3,000 prize.

The deadline to enter the contest is September 18th, 2017.

The winner will be determined by the editors and contributors to Real Simple. They will be judged on “originality (25 percent), creativity (25 percent), use of language (25 percent), and appropriateness to contest theme (25 percent).”

The essays must be non-fiction.
