The Epoch Times is currently hosting a writing contest with $10,000 in prizes, including a grand prize of $5,000. The goal of the contest is to create positive stories that have a chance to gain wide attention on Social Media.

They contest seeks “submissions of short (500-1000 words) inspiring articles, written in journalistic style, with viral potential on social media.”

The stories will be judged by two factors: “(1) a captivating story, and (2) an enticing Facebook post. ”

The deadline for entry is September 18th, but the earlier you enter, the better chance you have of winning the competition.

Prizes include a $5,000 grand prize, a $3,00 second prize, a $1,500 third prize, and four $200 honorable mentions.
