1. Adventure Motorcycle showcases “courageous people on inspiring rides around the world.” They profile riders, publish industry news, bike reviews, event reports, and DVD reviews. 2. Alberta Views is a regional magazine covering the province of Alberta. They publish articles about the culture, politics, and economy of Alberta. Payment is up to 50 cents (CDN) per word for features, and $100 for book reviews. To learn more, read their submission guidelines.

3. Down East is the magazine of Maine. They pay 40 to 70 cents per word. However, according to their guidelines they accept very few unsolicited queries each year.
