Chicken Soup for the Soul is calling for submissions on the topic of positive thinking. As with all Chicken Soup stories, they want real life, inspirational stories. The deadline for their next book, “Think Possible”, is on April 30th, 2015.
They pay $200 per story or poem, and also give their writers 10 contributor copies.
According to their website:
“We are looking for true stories of no more than 1,200 words about how you changed your life, solved a problem, or overcame a challenge because you used your positive thinking and put your best efforts into achieving your goals. What was the situation that inspired you to “think possible”? What changes did you make in your attitude — from negative to positive — that turned your life around?”
To learn more, and to submit your reading, be sure to read the full submission guidelines.
If you miss this current deadline, they have several more coming up this year on a variety of book topics, including “Random Acts of Kindness,” “My Very Good, Very Bad Cat,” and “Military Families.”
The Chicken Soup for the Soul franchise has sold more than 100 million books.
