HORSE GIRLS will be inclusive of a wide range of perspectives, from writers of different regions, ages, economic backgrounds, physical ability, race, gender expression, and sexual orientation. Essays will represent a range of equestrian disciplines and riders of all levels\u2014from aspiring, to hobbyists, to amateurs, to professionals\u2014as well as those involved in the horse world that aren&#8217;t necessarily riders.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They will pay $750 per essay. Each edition will feature contributions responding to a theme. The first edition\u2019s theme is power. They are seeking \u201cproposals for responses to this theme related to non-fiction (film, moving image, audio, VR\/AR+ etc.) \u2013 both new and old.\u201d They will pay \u00a3150 per piece (1,500 to 2,000 words). Contributors should send their pitches for the first edition before 10th January 2020.
