The following is a list of magazines and websites that pay up to $1,000 or more per article. You’ll notice that the first magazine listed is a trade magazine for insurance agents. Trade magazines like this one are often a great way to get high pay for freelance work. Not only do they tend to pay well, they’re not as competitive as the better-known consumer oriented magazines.<\/p>\n

They are looking for \u201cstories that feature conflict, narrative, access, and disclosure\u201d; \u201cinternational content that will resonate with American readers\u201d; \u201carticles based on novel data or research about the asset management industry\u201d; \u201ccultural stories about the financial industry\u201d; and \u201cfreelancers who know the institutional investment world.\u201d The pieces should ideally be 1,000 to 2,000 words long.
