They accept multiple submissions, and they are open for submissions during July 2019.

\nThe Bare Life Review<\/strong>
\nThis journal is committed to publishing work exclusively by immigrant and refugee authors and accepts fiction, non-fiction, and poetry from foreign-born writers living in the US, or from writers living abroad who currently hold refugee and\/or asylum-seeker status. Their guidelines also say, anything timely (i.e. reviews of new books, or work responding directly to current events) will be a good fit for their new online portal The Latest. <\/em>Likewise, very short essays (<2000 words or so), very long essays (>8000 words), or work that includes color photography, will make for a better fit online. All fiction and poetry should be addressed to the print journal, however. They welcome translations.

Some are just lucky (Lazarus Long), some have it thrust upon them (Lestat), some just naturally come by it (cats, bristlecone pines, megaliths), and some rightfully earn their immortality (Shakespeare, Sophocles). Is life extension possible via diets or genetic manipulation, and will there be side effects? Is ageism a real thing?\u201d
