The following is a list of 10 websites that pay freelance writers $50 or more. I’ve tried to include a wide variety of publications here. For even more websites that pay writers, read this list of 45 websites that pay $50+.<\/a><\/p>\n

1. The Dance Journal <\/strong>is seeking writers based in the greater Philadelphia region. They want writers to cover the local dance scene. Their goal is to “reach, engage and expose existing, new and potential audiences to dance.”\u00a0 They usually pay $50 per article. Writers are expected to contribute 1-2 articles a month. 2. The<\/strong> SFWA Blog <\/strong>is the official blog for the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America. <\/em>They want nonfiction articles of interest to sci-fi\/fantasy writers. They pay 6 cents a word, up to 1,000 words. To learn more, read their submission guidelines.<\/a><\/p>\n

3. Belt Magazine <\/strong>is a website that features journalism all about the “Rust Belt” \u2013 a region including old industrial cities such as Chicago, Buffalo, and Detroit.
