They\u2019re looking for evocative, narrative-minded essays that include research or reporting. Many stylistic elements are flexible: the voice can be first or third person, the essay can challenge or break conventional style, and there are no minimum or maximum word counts.<\/p>\n
On their submissions page, they\u2019ve included a list of topics that they\u2019d like to see writers cover. They\u2019re also looking for \u201cunforgettable essays and longform about holidays, celebrations, festivals, and other food-related traditions.\u201d It\u2019s a plus if the traditions are not well known in the U.S.<\/p>\n
