They’re an award winning magazine that has been around a very, very long time. In fact, they’re the oldest “mystery magazine” in the game. They are well distributed, and available in newsstands around the country.<\/p>\n

According to their website, they pay $.05-$.08 a word for short stories. The maximum length is 8,000 words.<\/p>\n

Their publisher, Penny Publications, publishes a number of highly successful fiction magazines, reaching almost 5 million readers every month.<\/p>\n
