The deadline is coming up very soon &#8212; March 1st, 2015 &#8212; so don&#8217;t delay if you plan to send them your writing.<\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;re for 6-12 year old kids. They offer &#8220;wholesome devotional readings that teach about God\u2019s love and presence in life. The content includes fiction, scripture stories, puzzles and games, poems, recipes, colorful pictures, activities, and scripture readings.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>They accept submissions of poetry, fiction, and scripture stories. They want writing that helps children deal with real life situations. They want their stories to be active and engaging. It&#8217;s for kids &#8212; and it should be fun!<\/p>\n<p>According to writingcareer.com, payment is negotiated between the writer and the editor, and is usually 10-14 cents a word and $25 a photo. The word limit on stories is 1,000 words.
