Transcendent Fiction Publishing: Verify You\u2019re Not Human Anthology<\/strong>
<\/strong>Tf Publishing is a furry & speculative fiction publisher. And, Verify You\u2019re Not Human is \u201can anthology about therian experiences. Stories may be realistic without any fantastical elements, or may result in transformation or some other kind of adapting to a therian identity over the course of the story.
The main character of the story must be therian (or similar forms of identity, such as otherkin) – this can be a \u201ccoming out\u201d story as the character recognises themselves as therian, or can be an established identity.
The story should have a strong focus on what it means to be therian – stories where this is incidental or not a focus will likely not be accepted. There are, however, many ways to be therian and all kinds of this will be considered.\u201d Stories may be of any age rating including explicit 18+ stories, and may be of any genre so long as they include obvious therian (or otherkin, etc.) main characters.

Hajar Press: The Hajar Book of Waves
<\/strong>They want submissions from writers of colour only<\/strong>, for this water-themed anthology \u2013 short stories, poetry, essays and \u201ceverything in between showing radical imagination, creative experimentation and sharp political engagement with the world around us.\u201d The anthology is called \u201cThe Hajar Book of Waves<\/em>, the second volume in our elements<\/em><\/a> anthology series.
This Water-themed book will explore the waves that carry, connect, renew and shape us: the ebb and flow of history in a non-linear continuum, a call-and-response between the past and the future; the gushing surges of empathy and feeling that move and enliven us; the fluid psycho-spiritual processes that help us adapt and change; the cycles of action and reflection that keep our organising alive; the mass movement of people in protest and migration; and the irrepressible force of the cosmos guiding the earthly tide. Pulp Literature
<\/strong>They\u2019re open for fiction submissions from Canadian writers only<\/strong> in February and will open general submissions (for all writers) in March. They want any genre or between-genre work of literature up to 50 pages in length. They accept short stories, novellas, poetry, and comics.\u00a0They take all genres of fiction, not just pulp \u2013 including fantasy, romance, mystery, literary. They do not publish non-fiction, memoir, or children\u2019s stories. They take more short fiction than novellas. They also publish reprints. Please note, fiction submission is via a form on their website, which may close temporarily even during open reading periods, if submissions get overwhelming. They accept queries for art. Submission is via a form.
