Some of the calls are themed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cosmic Horror Monthly<\/strong><br>They publish cosmic horror, Lovecraftian, and weird fiction, and related nonfiction. They have two regular reading periods, 1<sup>st<\/sup> to 7<sup>th<\/sup> January, and 1<sup>st<\/sup> to 7<sup>th<\/sup> July; and they issue special submission calls periodically. We are most interested in work that presses creative boundaries, uses more than one medium to tell a story, and both looks and feels different on the page. The stories need not teach a moral, or be close to an approved theological position, or be pro-Christian. They are especially interested in stories that show Christians from cultures beyond those of the United States, Canada, and Western Europe. They also accept translations and reprints. They have two annual reading periods for fiction, January and July.
