The guidelines say, \u201cJames Gunn defines science fiction as \u201cthe literature of change\u201d and states that it \u201cincorporates a belief that the most important aspect of existence is a search for humanity\u2019s origins, its purpose, and its ultimate fate.\u201d A tall order but a worthy goal.<br \/>\nOur editorial vision for\u00a0<em>James Gunn\u2019s Ad Astra<\/em>\u00a0calls for raising our eyes above the horizon and not limiting the scope of speculative fiction.
