They want work that engages with the natural world, and they have a particular interest in work which encourages reflection on human interaction with plant and animal life, landscape and the self. Looking for positive, hopeful stories with positive endings, and narratives that celebrate librarians.\u201d They have some guidelines\/suggestions on the librarian as a character (see guidelines). They have extensive guidelines on the kind of stories they want and do not want, including, \u201cAll stories must contain significant speculative elements. This does not mean all sci-fi stories must have lasers and rockets.
