Selene Quarterly Magazine
This speculative romance, mystery, and action-adventure quarterly periodical will open briefly for submissions in September. They publish fiction, non-fiction and poetry that “dwells in the shadows.” Also see specific guidelines for Astreus Quarterly (must identify with at least one marginalized group) and spotlight short story (one story involving the moon, or a moon, as a central element alongside the main theme of an issue).

The Eagle Has Landed: Reprint anthology for moon-related SF
Neil Clarke, of Clarkesworld Magazine, is editing an anthology of reprint stories celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11’s moon landing. He is looking for moon-related science fiction – stories must take place on the moon or feature the moon in a significant way. Translations are welcome. The anthology will be published by Night Shade Books.

The Cockroach Conservatory: Volume 2
Some of the themes they are looking for are time, militarism, reality and singularity. They like weird fiction and humor, and accept multiple submissions. They also accept poetry. The guidelines suggest potential contributors take a look at their previously published anthology and listen to their podcast to get a feel for the kind of work they are looking for.

The Georgia Review
This literary magazine reads unsolicited work after 15 August each year. They publish fiction, non-fiction, book reviews and poetry. There are no guidelines in terms of length for fiction – they have published work of less than a page in length to more than 60 pages – but they discourage writers from sending novel extracts. For essays, they want “provocative, thesis-oriented work that can engage both the general reader and the specialist.” They do not charge a fee for mailed submissions.

This take-home story paper, from Gospel Publishing House, is distributed weekly in adult Sunday School classes. They publish fiction, non-fiction, “how-to” articles, short humor, poetry and first-person anecdotes. Their guidelines say, “We do not accept Bible fiction or SciFi. The stories should be encouraging, challenging, and/or humorous. Even problem-centered stories should be upbeat. Stories should not be preachy, critical, or moralizing.
