SEO-focused blogs, ad copy, emails, web copy, etc.” An 80% writer is “someone who can take a piece from rough draft to like a final draft/V1.” They will prefer Canadian candidates for this opportunity. Paste Magazine publishes work about music, movies, TV, comedy, games, books, politics, drinks, tech, and travel. Their assistant food & drink editor is accepting pitches about food or drinks. They are “open to all your weird ideas but especially love a hot take, a list, or any culinary connections to crumbling American democracy.” They pay $100 for 800 to 1,000 words. They are on the lookout for new articles, particularly those that fit in their History category. They pay $50 for an article (1,000-2,000 words). Insider is a global news publication. They are looking for a frequent cruise traveler (over 15 voyages) who is interested in freelancing for them. Rates for cruise-related pieces will start at $200. Kveller is a website that offers parenting tips and tricks for raising Jewish children. Their deputy managing editor has tweeted, “Hey Jewish writers — were you made to pray in public school? The theme of the issue is COMEBACKS, but all good ideas are welcome. Their most urgent need is deep-dive reported narratives. They also want investigative projects, culturally significant trend pieces, non-celeb profiles, photo essays, and unorthodox stories and formats. They pay $1 to $2 per word. Agoodmovietowatch is a website that finds highly-rated, lesser-known movies and shows. They are always looking for contributors for Projektor (their film publication about international cinema). They only accept:
