Chicken Soup for the Soul just put up a last minute call for submissions. The topic: “Step Outside Your Comfort Zone .”

The deadline is March 31st, 2017. They gave writers a small window of opportunity. This may mean less competition for getting published, because fewer writers will be able to meet the deadline.

They pay $200 per essay accepted for publication, plus 10 copies of the book you are published in.
