Trails is Accepting Pitches for Hiker Box Newsletter
Trails is a quarterly, print-only magazine for “the backpacking and trail community.” They cover backpacking and other human or naturally-powered means of sleeping outdoors e.g. bikepacking, canoe camping, and even rafting or mountaineering. Business Insider’s deputy editor is seeking pitches on:

Final Gravity is Accepting Proposals for the Next Issue
Final Gravity is a quarterly beer zine. They’re accepting proposals for their next issue: “Writers, photographers, and illustrators focused on craft beer, cider, and the culture around them are invited to pitch.” They pay $125 to $175 for short pieces (500 to 800 words); $175 to $250 for short features (800 to 1,400 words); $225 to $300 for longer features (over 1,400 words); $100 for art features; and $50 for poems.
