17 Calls for Pitches Directly from Editors & Publishers

Dear Writers,

Here’s a list of 17 calls for pitches and articles, directly from editors and publishers. We’ve found submissions guidelines pages, payment rates, and editorial contact information for these listings, when available.

When we’re putting together these lists, our general policy is to limit it to publishers that are offering at least $50 per article. I know for many writers that would be woefully inadequate, while other writers would find that more than acceptable. We’ve had a lot of discussions about the “cutoff” point, in terms of pay. Our general thinking is that there is little harm in making pay rates transparent, as much as possible, even if they are low. If you have thoughts about this feel free to email: jacob@freedomwithwriting.com

Sincerely,

Jacob Jans
