Making Money From Home: Is Constant-Content Worth Your Time?

If you have a knack for writing and have made the decision to try to earn some money from home, you may be taking a closer look today at the freelance writing website Constant-Content. This website certainly does offer some significant benefits over other websites that cater to freelance writers, but it has some downsides, too. If you want to know if this site is worth your time and effort to write for, you will want to keep these points in mind:

Set Your Rate. Perhaps the best thing about using Constant-Content for freelance writing is that you can set your own rate. You can sell a 1,000 word article for $2 or for $100. Of course, you may wonder why you would want to sell your work so cheaply, and that will be addressed shortly. However, this gives you the opportunity to control your rates. Other freelance writing websites either have you work at a client’s specified rate, or they allow you to post your own work and get paid based on views or based on ad click-throughs.

Write What You Want. Another great thing about this website is that you can write about anything you want. If you want to write about the benefits of one dog breed over another, health care plans, computer programming, or anything else, you can. This gives you the ability to really showcase your unique knowledge in a certain area, or otherwise to spend time researching a topic that interests you and then write about the topic from different angles.

Wait For a Buyer. The downside to working through Constant-Content, however, is that there is no guarantee your work will sell. Ever. You essentially post the first few paragraphs of your work on the site for potential buyers to read through, and they will gain access to the entire article after paying your asking rate for you. However, you may write an article today and not sell it for six or eight months, if not longer. Of course, there are things you can do to encourage your work to be chosen. You can use the site to see which topics are 塗otat the moment as well as which topics are being asked for by buyers. You can also write fresh angles on existing content rather than re-hash content that is already posted on the site by other writers. If you write well and you write material others want, you will find that most of your work will sell within a month or two, if not sooner.

Sell Repeatedly. Constant-Content is among the only websites that allows you to set the rights you are willing to sell. You can sell usage rights only, which allows you to resell your article over and over again. In some cases, you can sell the some article three times, five times, or more. Consider writing an affordably priced piece of about 500 words for $8, and then consider the profits you can make by selling that same article five times over. There is no guarantee that your article will sell repeatedly, but you may find that over the course of a year or so, you can sell many of your pieces multiple times over for a great profit. Of course, you could just as easily ask for $35 or $40 to sell full rights to the article, but you will not be able to sell the article repeatedly.

If you make the decision to put this site to use, you will find that writing quality pieces that might appeal to a certain buyer will be in your best interest. Further, you will find that writing regular for this site, even if you write just a few articles a week, will begin to pay off for you over time.
